Bricked up arch of an old bridge under the High street, it is situated on the footpath between the High street and Sovereign-House (Benn Publications' building and old Tannery site) and has recently had its 'repair plaque' replaced (next to Nationwide bank)after a road accident. Railway Bell, after having a major refit, is currently boarded up and there are rumours of conversion to flats (Dec 07) The Angel Center (Jan 08) including Sainsbury and Beales stores is quite likely to be re-developed soon !
