 | | Finding the Fosse
This is what remains of the Fosse.
In 1259 Henry III allowed the building of the wall and fosse around Tonbridge, the wall never happened but there was a bank and ditch. The fosse is visible up to 10 feet high in the Port Reeve's House garden.
